The Romanian Water Association (ARA) organizes webinars where ARA members can present their newest products and technologies in the field. The presentations aim to inform and provide professional training for the staff of the Association’s members, especially those working for water supply and wastewater service operators.

The topic presented is “Optimizer” a decision support software tool for water distribution and collection systems that modernises infrastructure planning and asset management. It interfaces with hydraulic models and uses Optimisation through Genetic Algorithms and Cloud computing to automatically test all scenarios and identifies the most cost-efficient ones.

It helps Water companies to find best investment strategies and providing important capital costs savings.
